FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA 2018 Group C
Even though Group C looks like an easy group to follow it might point us wrong. The European sides France and Denmark make this group very interesting to watch at the World Cup in Russia. We don’t know if we can expect something more from Peru and Australia, while the expectations of high progress are already placed on Denmark and France.
The Australians are no pushovers and Peru ranked 11th so let’s see what the Cup holds.
#1 Denmark – Christian Eriksen
Thanks to Eriksen’s play, Denmark secured the spot on the European Qualifications. He scored an amazing hat-trick against Ireland so he ensured Denmark to participate in the World Cup.
He ended the qualifications scoring 11 goals, second only to Lewandowski. Expect Christian Erikson to be the maestro of scoring goals, also showing off his great vision of well-planned strikes and passing abilities.
#2 France – Antoine Griezmann
The hard-working Atletico Madrid forward is the well known Antoine Griezmann.
Griezmann offers special versatility when he runs the defenders, his energy and dribbling abilities make him the energetic player that he is on the field. This capability sets him apart in the French young team of talents.
The strong forward line for France is in the hands of Griezmann and Giroud.
#3 Australia – Mile Jedinak
Scoring the phenomenal hat-trick against Honduras for the national team of Australia, Jedinak booked the ticket to Russia directly for Australia.
His strong midfield game and his presence followed by his set-piece abilities make him the most valuable player for Australia. Jednak and Mooy are the best that Australia has, so expect the game to be consistent.
Jednak’s imposing manners are the reason he patrols the midfield and paces so strong.
#4 Peru – Paolo Guerrero
Due to cocaine ban he almost missed the chance to go to the Cup but fortunately, the ban has been reduced and appealed.
Guerrero undoubtedly will show the set-piece taking ability and his strength in the air that is in use of Peru. Guerrero is a big deal on the pitch, an all-time leading goal scorer for Peru and the strongest point when it comes to attacking the field.
The combo that he makes with Farfan will make the most interesting adventure to be seen, so expect quality fun times at the pitch.
