A possible Juventus-Milan swap deal between Bonucci-Higuain

The Italian defender is probably to return to Turin since the Serie A are in the early stages of talks for this transfer after just one year Bonucci spent in Milan. The preliminary discussions have already begun about this possible swap deal between the two football players Gonzalo Higuain and Leonardo Bonucci.

In the past year Bonucci had left the Serie A champions just one year ago, and already Juventus are ready and seriously considering into bringing back the 31-year-old defender, amidst claims that his form has fallen out with Coach Max Allegri.

Higuain could head in the other direction, likely to be moved to the following Juventus’s stunning signing of Cristiano Ronaldo. From a couple of sources, we can say that the initial talks between the two clubs have already taken place.  The CEO of Juventus Beppe Marotta and the new Milan general manager were at an early stage of conversations over this incredible swap.

Also interested in Bonucci are Manchester United and Paris-Saint-Germain since he made 51 appearances in all competitions for Milan in the 2017-18 campaign.

Due to the chaotic ownership situation that happens at San Siro, Bonucci has started for a while to consider his future. Due to this same chaos, the club was initially banned from Europa League but then reinstalled on appeal. Meanwhile, the boss of Milan, Gennaro Gattuso is hopeful that the club will be able to keep this player but also is aware that if Bonucci asks to leave he will accept his will even though it will be difficult to convince him to stay.

He said: “He’s a great professional and always the first to lead the group. I hope he can stay, he is a valuable player with a great mentality. When a player expresses a desire, the coach and those working in a group must do everything possible to persuade him to stay.”

Meanwhile, it appears to be destined for Higuain to leave Juve by some previous reports that Milan swap deal between Bonucci-HiguainMassimiliano Allegri will prioritize the coming of Ronaldo, so will have to sale the Argentine. Even though Milan understands the importance of Higuain in the club they might like the idea of him being the man leading their attack this coming season. So it seems that is unlikely the former Real Madrid striker would accept a bit-part role as Ronaldo’s understudy.
