Over the availability of Mateo Kovacic, the midfielder in Real Madrid, Chelsea has reportedly made an inquiry. The Blues have asked about him, as Maurizio Sarri the new manager is keen to improve his options in the middle of the park. He has been considered as a different option to Arsenal midfielder Ramsey, who they hold an interest in. Chelsea is reportedly on the wait for the Welshman, since his contract at the Emirates Stadium expires next summer.

Although the Croatia international is keen to move on, Los Blancos are not ready for that and consider him way too important to let go. Mateo Kovacic would be an excellent signing for helping out Chelsea forges one of the most impressive midfield setups in the division, if the Bleus can convince Madrid to let Kovacic move on.
