Ronaldo and Mendes are steering Sturaro to Sporting CP

Ronaldo and his so-called super agent Mendes are looking for ways to guide the Italian midfielder Sturaro over to Portugal. Sporting CP having Stefano Sturaro is gaining momentum and it’s a move that Ronaldo is helping to push towards fruition.

Some sources have found out that this powerful duo is behind the efforts to take Sturaro to the Portuguese club. The talks are already underway for the midfielder to make his move to Portugal to the team of Ronaldo’s youth. Carlo Volpi, Sturaro’s agent said that he goes to Lisboa this morning and that it is a loan without a purchase right.

He also added: “For sure Ronaldo’s words has been decisive!”

Ronaldo spent five years at Sporting, playing with the senior team for 25 games before his move to Manchester United in 2003.

This summer Sturaro has been linked with a move to Premier League side Watford, but the transfer failed to materialize before the English transfer window was closed. Even though this transfer window is closed, most other leagues still allow transfers until the end of August. It means that Sturaro still has a chance to find regular first-team football away from Turin.

He has joined Juventus from Genoa in 2014. He has been on the fringes of the fold throughout his time with Serie A champions. He made 90 appearances for the Bianconeri, since being recalled from a loan spell back at Genoa in February 2015.

He still offered a lot so he can earn an extension of the contract in December 2016. That deal was intended to take him through to 2021, but he could soon be heading to pastures new. Ronaldo is a fan to this man with four Italy caps to his name and he would like to see a talented performer benefit a former employer of his if there is no more future alongside him at the Allianz Arena.
