Arsenal ready to sell Danny Welbeck amid Everton rumors

It has been said that Premier League side Everton is keen on the England international striker, and Arsenal are ready to sell him. After telling the former Man United attacker he can leave, the Gunners head coach Unai Emery is expected to welcome a bid from the Toffees according to some news reports.

After a slew of injuries that have blighted his time in north London Welbeck is ready and very open to moving on. A portion of the following campaign has cost Welbeck’s knee injuries most of the 2015/16 season. But there is more to Welbeck’s uneven form at Arsenal; while there’s no doubt he hasn’t been helped by struggles to stay fit.Arsenal ready sell Danny Welbeck

The 27-year-old hit 10 goals across all competitions the last season and always being erratic in front of goal. It has been his best return as a Gunner.

Arsenal is reportedly interested in Domagoj Vida, the Croatia international center-back but they would need to sell Welbeck and Shkodran Mustafi to fund a bid of 25 million Pounds. And this isn’t the first time that Welbeck’s future at the Emirates Stadium has been called into question. As Emery continued to reshape the squad Welbeck and backup goalkeeper David Ospina have been considered as high-profile departures.

Welbeck will be out of contract in 2019 and that’s why Arsenal can afford to let him go. Also has been talked that there may also still be a place for Lucas Perez in Arsenal despite the reporting that Sporting Lisabon has agreed a 4.4 million deal to sign the striker.

Compared to Welbeck, both Perez and Nketiah offer some superior quality as finishers, whose pace and commendable hard work can’t mask a lack of goals for much longer.

Arsenal’s best move right now is cashing in.
