FIFA World Cup Russia has the globe’s eyes turned towards them. The World Cup represents the final chance for coaches and players to show and prove themselves worthy of being the candidates for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2018.

Just a few weeks after the Russia 2018 the nominees will be announced and will be crowned on 15 July in Moscow. Also, there will be the annunciation of the top individual crowns in the man’s game. The Best FIFA Men’s Coach and The Best FIFA Men’s Player. With the number of nominees from 23 to just 10, for those seeking the top individual playing award, it will be definitely tougher this year.

The potential nominees Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane could be respectively chosen on the back of superlative performances at Russia 2018 though. After his stunning goal against Uruguay on the previous World Cup, James Rodriguez grabbed the world’s attention and took home the 2014 FIFA Puskas Award.

In late July the nominees for all these awards will be revealed with the winners crowned on Monday 24, September in London. Will The Best in 2018 also be the World Cup winner?
