If Ramsey does not sign a new deal before the closing of the transfer window with Arsenal, Chelsea are reportedly very much interested with Aaron Ramsey and they are set to make a £30 million offer.
According to Steve Stammers in the Mail of Sunday, the Wales international is in the final year of his contract to Arsenal. The Gunners want his future to be resolved before the transfer window closes, and they are confident he will stay put. Otherwise, they risk losing him for nothing next year.
If the two parties fail to reach an agreement Chelsea is keeping an eye on the situation and they are definitely prepared to make a late move for him. Arsenal, according to for the Daily Mail per Sami Mokbel, has offered Ramsey a five-year deal so he can stay at the Emirates Stadium. That deal will follow with a substantial pay increase on the £110.000 per week.
Unai Emery, the new boss has plans to make Ramsey the key part of his side and is eager to retain Ramsey in the club. But the good news for Chelsea is that it seems that Ramsey will be allowed to leave this summer if he doesn’t sign the new offered deal.
