PSG reportedly ready to sign Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen for £100M offer

The plan to launch a £100 million move for Christian Eriksen, the midfielder of Tottenham is still on the go for PSG. Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of the Spurs clearly made it obvious that Eriksen is not for sale but still PSG don’t surrender that easy. According to some sources first of all PSG didn’t have an offer in the works to try to land Eriksen, but since they haven’t signed new players this summer, Pochettino has told chairman Daniel Levy not to sell his chief playmaker.

The transfer window for the Premier League closed last Thursday, so it means that Tottenham won’t be able to sign a replacement until the winter if they did sell. Ligue 1 is still opened, until August 31st.

It has been said that Real Madrid is also interested in Eriksen, especially if they lose former Spurs star Luka Modric. To lure Eriksen away from Tottenham will be a challenge for both teams PSG or Real though. These are the two teams of a few that could afford to tempt Spurs into a sale.

Regarding their expenditures, a big-money move for Eriksen could, therefore, attract more attention. Eriksen is still yet to sign the extension of the contract that has been offered to him by the club earlier this summer. His current deal is scheduled to expire in the summer of 2020.

In 2013 Eriksen has been purchased from Ajax for just 11million £, a price that looked good five years ago. Now it looks 10 times better regarding his value in the new transfer market landscape that’s emerged in the past year.
