Understanding Football League Statistics
Football league rankings help you compare how often different outcomes occurred across competitions. Use the market tabs to explore both teams to score, total goals, first-half goals, draws and half-time/full-time reversals. Each ranking describes the displayed match sample rather than a guaranteed outcome for the next fixture.
Comparing Goal Trends and Draw Rates
Different statistics answer different questions. BTTS measures whether both sides scored, while over 2.5 and over 3.5 measure the combined goal total. Draw statistics focus on level scorelines. A competition can rank highly for goals without ranking highly for BTTS, particularly when one-sided results are common.
From League Rankings to Individual Matches
Use league trends as a starting point, then review the teams involved in a fixture. Recent results, home and away performance and the strength of the opposition provide context that a league-wide percentage cannot capture. The overview highlights market leaders; use the individual tabs for a fuller comparison.
Reading the Record and Selected Period
The displayed dataset is October 2026 so far. Read each percentage alongside its record: the first number represents qualifying results and the second is the match count used in that row. For example, 12 qualifying results from 20 matches represents 60%. Compare samples of similar size and check the displayed dataset label when changing months. Historical frequencies are not guaranteed future outcomes or a measure of betting profitability.
