2024 COSAFA cup
The upcoming COSAFA Cup shall be played in the period between June 26 and July 7, 2024. Botswana and South Africa will be fighting in the campaign of the competition. These two teams have played often previously with the count at 12 matches; however, Botswana has never emerged as a winner against Bafana Bafana. As it is proposed in the group tables, 12 teams are going to participate in the competition. The event is expected to be one for the heats since Zambia is seeking to create a record of being the three-time successive COSAFA champions. The only five victors in the competition’s history are Zimbabwe, Namibia, Angola, South Africa, and Zambia. As of now, one of the teams competing in the tournament is yet to be decided. 2024 World Rugby U20 Championship
This title will feature the best 12 squads competing for the grand title. The competition aims to help young players exhibit their talents and develop them to reach an elite level. It has been the 14th time this competition has been arranged and it is planned to take place from the 29th of June to the 19th of July in 2024. Specifically, the participating games will be based on the two provinces within Western Cape, that is Stellenbosch province and Cape town province. This tournament will be the first international competition under fan-focused regulations. One of the goals of this restructuring is to maintain a uniform system for the presentation of Rugby on all media platforms. There will also be a thorough review of the terminology used during matches, to remove language that can serve as a barrier for the audience. 2024 WXV 2
The 2024 WXV 2 is the first WXV women's international rugby union group tournament 2. The first division of WXV, WXV 1 shall be held in Canada and the third division, WXV 3 shall be held in the United Arab Emirates. These three sets of competitions will decide which countries will form the 2025 Rugby World Cup. WXV 2 is scheduled to take place between the 27th of September and the 13th of October.
